Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join our IT Procurement team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and procurement operations, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality procurement of IT products and services.

A CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) certification is required for this role, demonstrating your expertise in procurement best practices and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and quality.

🔹 Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.

🔹 Manage vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.

🔹 Oversee the procurement cycle, from purchase requests to order fulfillment.

🔹 Work closely with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business needs.

🔹 Ensure adherence to company policies, regulations, and best procurement practices.

🔹 Drive cost-saving initiatives and improve operational efficiency.

🔹 Utilize procurement tools and ERP systems to manage purchasing activities.

🔹 Stay updated with market trends and industry developments to maintain a competitive edge.

  Job Requirements

• CIPS certification is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
•  5+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the IT industry.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement strategies, contract management, and risk assessment.
• Experience with ERP procurement systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Skills & Knowledge:
  • Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with the Saudi market is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Odoo ERP is a huge advantage.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Good command of the English language (written and spoken).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
